Ahakista is located on the Sheep's Head peninsula between Durrus and Kilcrohane in County Cork, Ireland. The picture was taken during a walk near the Sheep’s Head lighthouse. In 2015 The Sheep's Head Way was awarded silver in the Best Destination category at the Irish Responsible Tourism Awards, and it was long-listed for the Global Responsible Tourism award. This is an isolated area and when I was there in November, it has been rained all night long and I woke up with an amazing sun shining. The view was breathtaking.
