Starting at London City Airport, you need to get on the DLR train to Canning Town and then switch to the Jubilee line to Westminster Station. Right after you walk up the stairs in the station, you’ll see the Palace of Westminster with it’s huge bell tower.
It was an amazing experience to walk along Westminster Bridge and the Queen’s Walk, at the riverside of the Thames. At night, the famous tourist area is definitely not as crowded as in the day, which makes the imposing, illuminated structures appear in a more beautiful atmosphere.
