Take a ferry 5.2/B/2 from St Mark’s Square, leave the crowds behind and head to Zattere. It takes approx 15 min to get there. See Venice from a slightly different perspective.
Strolling through Venetian Streets in a chilly February morning, is like stepping back in a time and suddenly becoming a spectator in the fairy tale open theatre show of multiple acts, constantly changing scenes, actors, actresses, with just a tiny difference - there is no screenplay, no director, only brilliant improvisation. This is Venice and I love this city.
