Take Renfe (Spanish railway) from Madrid Airpoirt Terminal 4 to Atocha Station, which is direct connection.
This is an amazing forest inside the train station... I missed the train and needed to wait another hour for next train, but no pain at all! Waiting in such a forest, just so relaxing. I almost missed next train too!
